I haven't been keeping up with this site like I should, maybe I'll add some more stuff soon. Looks like I'm somehow selling a beat up Peugeot. Never trust a used French car.

Michael,
As per our telephone conversation regarding the above vehicle Peugeot 308 2008 please find enclosed the pictures of the defects that I told you about.Firstly there is a large dent on the Rear tailgate, the floor carpet on the drivers side front is badly worn and ripped, the right hand front mirror cover is missing and lastly and most worrying is the fact that there is a Warning of Defective Braking System illuminating on the display unit and the ABS light is staying on in the Dash.I had a friend of mine check the vehicle with a diagenostic machine which indicates a permanent electrical fault in the Recirculating Pump of the braking system which i will have to consult with a Service department of a Peugeot Garage to find out the exact problem and solution to this fault. As you can apreciate all the above issues where not awear to me until i viewed the vehicle and all would have to be rectified before selling the vehicle and seeing that i have invested a full day of my time and a lot of money already by going to Letterkenny to collect the vehicle i wonder would you be able to pass on this information to whoever is responsible for disposing of vehicles within your company and see if any negotating could be done on the price of the vehicle to reflect the above problems and also the fact that hte vehicle is well over due a timing belt. The biggest concern that i have in relation to the vehicle is the fault with the braking system which is a serious problem and will have to be rectified immediately so i will make contact with a peugeot garage first thing in the morning to see if they can give me an indication as to the cost of rectifing this problem and speak to yourself as soon as i have more concrete information.
Regards
Raymond O Donnell
