Dear Citizen,

As one of the cosponsors of the National Right to Work Act (S. 2173), I'm grateful to all the concerned citizens who have urged your U.S. Senators and Representatives to stand up to Big Labor and end forced unionism.

That's why, if you haven't yet signed the National Right to Work Act petition, please go ahead and do so by clicking here. It's important your elected officials hear your opinion on the National Right to Work Act.

Once you have (or if you already did), I would like to ask a favor of you.

Please forward this email to everyone you know who shares our concern for worker freedom and a better economy

Let your friends and relatives know that the National Right to Work Act not only fights forced unionism, it also loosens Big Labor's stranglehold on our economy.

Comment below was dynamite.  Sorry, but the Bears will be better than the Lions, Daniel.

Steve:

Growing up we would play football in a field near my house. We had a play called 'the Cade McNown'. After the snap, the QB would run to the sideline as quick as possible and throw up an awful side arm pass as far as he could. I wish I was joking.

Thanks for the research Jo.  After the surgery we will definitely have to look into a chair.  Mom was able to sleep in bed for part of last night so that was good.

FYI, after Mom came home from her doctor visits last Friday, she talked to Jim and I about getting a chair similar to Dad's electric chair that would fit her.  JoAnn did some research and the information she got is below.

Hi,
If you want to get your Mom a lift chair then someone needs to measure her when she sits in a chair so that her feet are on the floor and measure the floor to behind her knees then from her knees to the back of her bottom.  The one below should be the smallest and best fit for her but there are some that accommodate short trunks but slightly longer legs (due to aging back shrinking). There are some fabric choices too.
Just thought I'd share this.

Attached find the MRI results showing a fracture of the T 10.  The best way to read the report is to print the two pages.  Dr. Lim's visit didn't provide any new information.  Basically Mom's spine has failed.  This new fracture is her 7th, anytime there are more than 4 fractures there is 100% guarantee that there will be additional fractures.  Because Mom hunches over so severely it makes breathing difficult.  There is nothing that can be done to prevent additional fractures.  Surgery is scheduled for August 23rd at Christ Hospital with a follow up visit on August 31st at 10:30 at Lim's Orland Park office.  The surgery will last approximately 1 hour and is called Kyphoplasty.  It consists of 2 small holes at the T10 and the insertion of cement to stabilize the T10.  This surgery is only meant to give Mom pain relief and Lim didn't want Mom to believe it would be as successful as the last surgery.  She should be in the hospital for 23 hours.

Besides seeing Lim she went to Obert-Hong's office for the pre-surgery blood work, EKG and Dr.'s clearance letter.  Her blood pressure was 132/77 pulse of 73.  She weighed 99 lbs with shoes on but no brace.  Height is 4 feet 6 inches.

I don't believe anything is being accomplished by pre-surgery sleep overs.  I do believe she will need that help after surgery.

Who ever takes Mom to ANY Dr. please make sure they review her medicines and supplements.  Please keep track of confusion issues.  I know the last 2 weeks have been hard on her but there appears to be major confusion.  We should monitor this beyond surgery.  There are long term care issues that we should start discussing.

Mom is thinking of a new lift chair.  The chair would have to be for her size and would be a good Christmas gift.

Tens of millions of American workers have access to an employer-provided retirement plan. While most participate, the majority don't contribute the maximum they are permitted.

That's too bad because, as is often said, whatever you gain is equal to what you contribute. But in the case of retirement savings, you can...

Patti,

It was really nice to meet you and get to know some of your kids and your
husband Ed.
I just wanted to follow up on a few things that we discussed.
I never received Michael resume or call regarding the Lincoln job or a
possible AXA job in Jersey City.
Also, I would like to set up two meetings. One is the Phillies game in my
diamond seat for this Saturday' s game August 11th against the Cardinals.
The second meeting is to let you know about the SCS solution that we just
launch with your firm.
It a great compliment to managed money or mutual funds.

Thanks,
